Sept 10-11 Realizing Major Change Bootcamp

This two-day introductory-level training is focused on providing participants with an understanding of the patterns seen in successful strategic change and transformation initiatives.

The program is based on Conner Partners’ five decades of research and consulting and our Strategy Execution Framework (SEF). The Framework is focused on achieving change realization — that is, fulfilling the desired business outcomes and promise of the change. Content includes:

  • An introduction to SEF principles and concepts

  • The critical role of Intent and Intent Management

  • Understanding key change roles, constituents, and role mapping

  • Characteristics of effective Sponsorship

  • Enrollment: building understanding and commitment to change

  • The commitment journey: exercising Resolve and harnessing resistance

  • Understanding Synergy and how it impacts change execution effectiveness

  • Organizational Capacity: balancing change demand and absorption

  • When and how to align Culture to drive change realization

  • Change execution risk mitigation planning

This highly interactive professional development program includes multiple opportunities to experience initial exposure to SEF tools and resources and begin to explore how to apply SEF to strategic change initiatives. In addition to the class instruction, participants work in small breakout teams with a dedicated Conner Partners facilitator and have full-group discussions with all participants and the Conner Partners facilitator team. Further, the Bootcamp lays the foundation for incorporating a common change execution framework and language into the organization.

The two-day format is targeted for professionals directly involved in implementing and/or supporting strategic change and transformation initiatives. Classes are limited to 30 participants. The Bootcamp also serves as a prerequisite for those interested in continuing on to Basic Application-Level SEF Certification.
