Guest Interview—Peter Meyer

Peter Meyer is a writer and lecturer, but to me, Peter is primarily a thinker. He has the ability to ask penetrating, thought-provoking questions that draw out thinking. He also shares thoughts and perceptions that I always find compelling.

I recently spoke with Peter to get his thoughts about the idea of using attraction, instead of fear, to get the results we need with targets of change. In the interview, he outlines his seven-step process for using an attraction-based approach to executing a change initiative.

Guest Interview—Rick Maurer

I’ve just posted an audio of a recent conversation I had with Rick Maurer. Rick is the author of several books, including Beyond the Wall of Resistance, and I have been following his work for some time. In the interview, I ask Rick for his opinion about the high (70%) failure rate of change initiatives, and he talks about the three areas he thinks contribute to the dismal statistic. Rick also discusses resistance to change, which he classifies into three types, “I don’t get it,” I don’t like it,” and “I don’t like you.”
