Linda Hoopes

Dr. Linda Hoopes has spent more than 30 years helping organizations increase their effectiveness during transformational change. She has developed a reputation for clearly and simply diagnosing and explaining complex issues, and for serving as a skillful facilitator and a thoughtful and caring mentor to change agents and leaders.

Professional Experience

Linda’s experience spans a wide range of industries and public-sector organizations, including health care, financial services, manufacturing, government, public health, education, and nonprofit. She has been a part of the Conner Partners/Conner Advisory staff since 1991 in a variety of roles including Research Director, VP of Operations, and Master Trainer. She is also the founder and president of Resilience Alliance, an Atlanta-based firm focused on helping individuals, teams, and organizations learn to thrive in turbulence by building resilience, human energy sustainability, and change readiness. 

She is the author of Prosilience: Building Your Resilience for a Turbulent World, Managing Change with Personal Resilience, and Embracing Another Normal: Resilience Stories and Strategies for Raising Children with Disabilities (coauthored with Kris Burbank).

Linda received her Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tennessee and her AB in Psychology from Davidson College. She has served on the faculties of several institutions including Rutgers and Georgia Tech, and is licensed as a psychologist in the state of Georgia. She is also a musician, photographer, and sailor ,and brings these influences into her work.
