Jeff Butler
Jeff is an expert strategy execution practitioner with over 35 years’ experience in leading client teams through a broad range of transformational efforts. Jeff has been privileged to serve clients across pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, retail, financial services, consumer product, amnd not-for-profit companies. Jeff is one of the most tenured practitioners of Conner Partners’ Strategy Execution Framework and methodology, and has played a role in training and developing hundreds of client practitioners.
Jeff brings deep experience in the full lifecycle of transformation – including early-stage efforts to clarify strategy and align leaders; defining the portfolio of changes needed to deliver the promise; establishing effective governance; integrating change practices with other design and delivery disciplines; and leading organizational teams to adopt and sustain of new ways of working.
Jeff focuses intensely on transferring knowledge and personal accountability to his client partners as a primary vehicle for delivering results.

Jeff’s experience spans 36 years of management consulting with two leading firms and as an independent expert practitioner. His experience includes supply chain transformation, merger integration, business strategy execution, customer experience, culture change, and digital transformation.
Highlights in Pharma and Biotech include: Change Lead for a major Consumer Goods and Pharmaceutical manufacturer to transform their network infrastructure; Change Lead for a pharmaceutical company undergoing world-class manufacturing transformation; developing a deep bench of global change agents in Conner Partners’ Change Execution Methodology for a pharmaceutical manufacturer; leading change and communications efforts pharmaceutical manufacturer to transformation of all global support functions; and Lead change agent for a pharmaceutical manufacturer in a lean manufacturing and business process management transformation.
Other accomplishments in healthcare include: driving clarity and alignment among executives for transformational growth strategy at a health-focused consumer products company; leading Strategy Execution efforts at a for-profit health care system to establish an Academic Medical Center in partnership with an academic (university) hospital; leading Change Readiness and Execution efforts for a healthcare system that had been acquired by an insurance provider; and leading a Midwestern hospital group in a system-wide effort to improve patient experience, reduce length of stay, and establish Service Lines for medical practices. Prior to Conner Partners, Jeff was a partner with Kurt Salmon Associates, now part of Accenture Strategy.
