Angie Fuessel

Angie is a senior leader with over 25 years’ experience working to foster effectiveness and transformation amongst individuals, organizations, and systems. She has significant expertise in organizational strategy, development, culture, change management/communication, and social innovation. She excels in leading systems and organizational strategy and transformation efforts; facilitating groups to achieve their goals; building communities and networks for capacity building and collaboration; developing and leading learning experiences; and researching and writing thought leadership.

Having lived and worked in four countries, Angie has a broad portfolio of experience across the sectors, in the US and abroad, with high threshold for ambiguity and ability to tailor approaches to multi-cultural contexts. She is particularly passionate about leading transformation and culture change in non-governmental and faith-based organizations and has led cultural audits and/or improvement efforts in several. She has strong experience in public speaking and facilitation and designing learning experiences and communities, especially to foster change.

Angie is experienced in Conner’s Strategy Execution Framework and methodology and has completed the Conner High Impacted Trusted Advisors (HITA) experience. Angie holds Certificates in Organization Change & Development from Hawaii Pacific University and Social Entrepreneurship from USASBE. She has an MBA from Oxford University and EdD from George Washington University in Human & Organizational learning, drawing on adult learning and organizational culture, leadership, and change disciplines. In addition to being a lifelong learner, Angie loves exploring the world and spending time outdoors in her current home state of Colorado.

Professional Experience

Angie has supported transformation from both external and internal perspectives. In addition to her support to Conner clients, she was a former management consultant with both Booz Allen Hamilton and Booz & Co; Advisor in the Government of Abu Dhabi; and Director with Ashoka U, the higher education initiative of social entrepreneurship pioneer Ashoka. She has supported a variety of change efforts including, for example, organizational start-up, realignment, culture change, IT systems change, and more.
