Knowing your strengths, weaknesses, abilities, limitations, biases, gifts, and more is very closely linked to your ability to be mindful. In fact, self-knowledge is so closely connected to mindfulness that I feel it is impossible to separate them.

Becoming a “Mindful” Practitioner


As a change practitioner, are you able, when necessary, to narrow your attention to the one person/thing in front of you, setting aside emotional reactions, preoccupation with past and future events, self-absorption, and even multi-tasking? In this series, I talk about mindfulness–its importance, the ease with which we are distracted from it, and ways to improve it.
